Well I am glad they came up with something to compete it gives more choices, It was kinda hard compareing a 642 lightweight with the SP101.
Now are they going to offer it in a 6 shot 327MAG
Well Booming, I may be in that minority with you. I love Ruger, but making both the littlest Ruger revolver and the littlest semi DAO has really disappointed me. Either one would have me lining up if they were straight DA with a hammer spur I could get my thumb on. I know in terms of real world self defense DAO would probably do just fine but I don't like it as a matter of preference.

I may be in the minority, but I actually thought it was a good-looking gun. If the street price ends up being about $300-$350 I might grab one instead of a 642... but if it ends up being the same price, I don't see a reason to change from a J-frame.
And of course I'll wait until it's been recalled the first time.
