Anyone have experience with the Milt Sparks pocket holster PCH-RI for the S & W J frame revolvers? It can be seen here:

http://www.miltsparks.com/

It has a maleable wire in the perimeter of the holster so it can be formed to the shape of your leg. Sounds like a good idea. The outer panel does not extend up to the grip so I wonder if it would print more than other pocket holsters that use a antiprint panel as large as the gun. On the other hand not having the panel near the grip means it won't be in the way.

Any experience or thoughts on the matter would be appreciated.

Mike

I had the previous version, and liked it. The trouble is that it's right pocket (or, if you order the left hand version, left pocket) only, and I'd prefer to have a choice.

I think worrying about printing is easily overdone; I don't have any trouble with it with my Mika pocket holster, or even the Uncle Mike's.

There seems to be a lot going for the much cheaper alternatives like the Mika. I should probably start with that, or possibly the DeSantis Nemisis which is similar. Besides, ammo and range fees start adding up. I suspect I would be testing the wifes' patience if I start buying holsters at $75 plus a pop.
