There may be a little more openness on the Serpas allowing a shirt tucked into the trigger guard to be pulled out without moving the gun in the holster, but if you've managed to tuck a shirt tail into your trigger guard, you've already got problems. |

I've had a few people use them in my classes with no problems. We just make sure their finger stays straight along the frame while drawing, like everyone else. An incident where a student had his shirt get in the triggerguard happened in a class I was in at Gunsite. He was a 15 year Deputy Sheriff from AK. Glock 21, 230 grain Hydra-shok. He ended up with a 10 inch long tunnel in his calf. It was his duty holster (not a Serpa). Those who have taken one of my classes knows what "tuck and sweep" means! |
