If I need a fanny pack I just use my Eddie Bauer. Does not look like a gun fanny pack yellow and black with water bottle holders.

I know a fanny pack is handy and fairly discreet. I tried carrying one long before I got my permit. Just never really liked it. Maybe it's time to try again.

I do like the fanny-pack for when I'm on my bike, and that seems to be quite often lately. Mine is blue, and looks quite untactical and harmless. I think it is made by AndersonEnterprises.

I never use it off the bike though.

ok, so if you just use a regular fanny pak, do you sew a holster to the inside......... just put the gun in the holster, and then in the pak.......or just put the gun in the pak as is?
I don't know if I would be comfortable carrying the thing around without something covering the trigger guard.

Mine is made for a gun. It has a velcro-covered holster in it. It just doesn't look like a gun-bag.

I still think pocket carry allows one to have the best chance of, say, going to the Pantages Theater and seeing Kathy Griffen without raising any suspician in the Asia Security people checking you as you go in.

If you are skinny enough, it is tough to beat a belly band style rig. They work well also for running if one is so inclined. Slower draw but better than no gun at all. Not for all day carry though.

Any one try those cargo style pants with some sort of holster in the cargo pocket?

Small revolver carried in a cowboy style boot

Ankle holsters don't seem like somethng I'd like to try.

I've carried in a briefcase before. Have your papers secured if it is windy.

Shoulder holsters don't work like the movies show, I've found

I tried an ankle holster for a while. Definitely not my preferred method of carry at all. Not the most comfortable for me, but I use it from time to time when I go places like church or go somewhere with a person or people that I don't want knowing I carry.
