Andrews right, if you look at the really blurry, badly taken photos of the holster I put together; you will notice the trigger guard portion is only very slightly indented. The leather will "Stretch", but there is no way it would dip like that without working it.
Also, I'm not sure I would put the belt in when drying it. Maybe there is a reason for it; but I would think that if it didn't hold the belt shape, it would wear more accurately to your profile (again I have made all of two holsters so I'm no expert).
