CCRN-PAC will be sending this out later today.
PLEASE REPOST WIDELY.
**************************************
A special election will occur on Thursday, January 3, 2008 in the Northfield area to elect a new state Senator for District 25 (to replace Tom Neuville).
A DFL victory will provide a 2/3 DFL majority in the state Senate allowing the DFL Legislature to override Republican Gov. Tim Pawlenty's vetos at will.
DFL candidate is quoted as gloating in these words, "I shook the Governor's hand this morning. I didn't tell him I was going to override his vetoes."
Gun owners need to vote FOR the Republican candidate -- Ray Cox.
Northfield area gun owners NEED to do this even though Cox's record in the Minnesota House on specific pro-gun issues is weak. The Governor's power to veto bills is the only thing that gives other pro-gun legislators crucial leverage over the Metrocrat liberal, anti-gun agenda. Do the necessary, folks, even if it hurts.
Turnout is the key in special elections -- get up and VOTE!

Bend over a little now or your going to bend over a lot later....
grumble...grumble....grumble...
BUT I AINT VOTEN FOR MCCAIN NOR GUGLIANI!!! I'll vote for that be-och before I vote for either of those basterds! Maybe then the dam party will see the light! Corse the dems would see that as the US backs them rather then it was a protest vote of flipping the bird to the RNC!

Who won? What's the winner's stance on RKBA?

A newbie, Kevin Dahle won. I don't know anything about his stance on guns.
