Haven't made it all the way through the article yet, but is Chief Wiggum really using a computer powered by Win98?

Very good, very professional, very accurate -- what's not to like? (Unless, of course, one is ScottWigginsFromTheGovernorsOffice...)

Plus 1 on the good job Doug.

With the Lege session over, would it now be worth an E-Mail campaign to T-Paw, thanking him for not raising our taxes (which was a campaign promise) to much, but also remind him of one other campaign promise he made..........RECIPROCITY. After all, those muddling politicians are on their way home. Nothing to stop him from doing the peoples work and keep a few promises!......comments and thoughts??

That thought has some Merit. If they're going to go after him, they have bigger bones to pick than legal technicalities of an existing law which has caused no problems.

Being new to handguns and firearms in general I've been doing alot of reading on the net over the subject. I find this story disturbing and one of the reasons I don't like politics. That being you never know if promises made will be kept. I like this article alot it provides some history I didnl;t really know about. It seems as you get older you start paying attention to politics but I'm still lost.

One question though where is a good place to get minnesota gun laws in readable(not legal) english, aka something I can understand.

The Book by the boss of the forum, would be the perfect reading.

I actually just got a copy of said book today and have almost finished it. I would highly recommend a copy for everyone with a permit if for no other reason than a reminder of what some of those laws actually are, I had forgotten a couple in the three and a half years since I went through the class.
