Voters interested in participating in next month's presidential caucuses can find information at the Minnesota Secretary of State's Precinct Caucus Finder on its website, www.sos.state.mn.us.

The site gives times and locations for the Feb. 5 caucuses of the Republican, Democratic and Independence parties. The Constitution Party will hold its caucus Feb. 2, the Green Party on March 4; the Independence Party, which has a virtual election via the Internet, will continue its caucus from Feb. 5 to March 4 .

To attend a caucus, you must be eligible to vote in the general election on Nov. 4 and be likely to support candidates of that political party.

To contact the parties directly:

Constitution Party: 763-227-4359; www.cpmn.org

DFL: 651-293-1200; www.dfl.org

Green Party: 651-288-2820; www.mngreens.org

Independence: 651-487-9700; www.mnip.org

Republican: 651-222-0022; www.mngop.org

I have to tell you I am not happy that my caucus is at the Cambridge-Isanti HS (Republican Caucus). Requires that I am disarmed because it is a school. Boy if I need a "slow rolled" T-shirt (not that I'm not already going to encourage working to put Tim-Paw and Coleman out to pasture anyway). NEED TO GET "SLOW ROLLED" SHIRT IN EX-LARGE SOON - HELP - HELP :!: :!:

Mine's at the local Jr. High, I'm wearing the Regan bust shirt, or my "Defeat Hillary for the common good" shirt.

And I'm sporting an empty holster; OPEN.

Also, it's not too late to sign up as a precinct captain, many precincts are still open.

1) When we got slow-rolled many of us elected to stop donating to the elephant party until the Govenor's promise was completely fulfilled. If I remember correctly the last caucus I went to they demanded I give them a check for the reimbursable amount to get in. What is the minimum legal amount I have to pay to attend?

2) Anybody got some carry resolutions they want promoted? I get to confused with the whereas' and therefores. My e-mail s/b in my profile.

Thanks.

Agreed but the sad thing is, who will replace them? Mike Ciresi and Al Franken? Kind of late for a write in campaign and the NRC hasn't stepped up with other candidates.

I'll be at my caucus here in Shakopee.

If they demanded money to get in, I'd tell them that I'd be right back with a news crew and watch them scurry away. If they didn't, I'd bring a Strib news crew or at least film the whole thing.

I don't know how in the world anybody is supposed to look at the current crop of candidates and decide who to vote against next week. I thought about attending the wrong caucus, but I can't decide who I'd rather see win that part, either.
