What schools in Minnesota allow carrying on campus? I am trying to change the policy at the university I attend and would really like this information. And possibly a figure on how many college students have permits, maybe something like that.

That's what I thought. Have there been any near successful attempts at changing policy?

Unfortunately no. This will be no small process at MNSCU and U of M schools. Private colleges might be a different story.

Who wants to get a little coalition of the willing to help change mnscu policy?? I figure we could get a group from every university and make sure they are on each school’s student government and work from there. Influencing mnscu will be difficult but placing of key people in key locations will get the ball rolling for change

I am a student a local private college and obviously interested in having the policy changed. I have a few faculty members who are supportive, and I am in the process of writing an opinion piece for the school's paper. Send me a PM if you have suggestions. I think the time is right, especially at this institution.
