As promised. I know it's not usual to start something like this without an introduction, but, for now, let's leave it at: Let a thousand flowers bloom; there's lots of ways to do things, and while let's postulate that CCRN's is utterly wonderful and has produced great things, there's no reason not to do other stuff; "non-CCRN" <> anti-CCRN. My own take: may CCRN go from strength to strength; let those who want to do other things (including those who want to do other things as well as participating in CCRN; this is about inclusion, not exclusion) might want to figure out what to do and how to do it. More -- well, some -- details to come, but is there any particular Saturday evening in December that works well for a lot of folks to come into or stay in the cities, have a meeting and maybe a few drinks among companionable folks? |

It's now on my calender. Sherpa duties volunteered, as well as designated driver, if folks with hair want to let it down. Also the offer of a bed for the night, for someone from outstate who needs it. The first "I'll take it" gets the bed. Designated driver logistics can be worked out as we go! |

December 16th it is. More to come, probably next week, on where I think we should start. (Where we go, obviously, is up to the whole group.) Who should be there? Easy: everybody interested, who wants to come, and who can make it. No exceptions; fine with me if Citizens for a Supine Minnesota want to put a mole in the room. (No fair dressing up in tie-dye, love beads, and splashing on patchouli, though; it should be harder to figure out who the mole is.) |

I'll see if I can make it; my schedule is impossible to predict this far forward. |

Count me in The meeting should be somewhere dark and clandestine.... Perhaps the Wabasha Street Caves? A vigil by candlelight. |
