Wow! Private classes are cheaper than regular classes. I'll have to remember that

Nope. Same price for me, at least, as long as it's in a reasonable place and we can work out a time.

There are enough of us around the metro (and other parts of the state) that it shouldn't be too hard to find someone in any area willing to work with a small group.

I offer private classes as well. 4 students or more or equivalent price. I'll bring a projector and we can do the class in someone's home. Range session at Oakdale Gun Club.

I think the lower prices generally reflect lower student acquisition cost and lower rentals (no classroom to rent in my case)

Classes have been down across the board from everyone I talk to. Some of that may be due to the renewal lull and the economy.

I can be reached at paul@mntactics.com

As far as I know, all instructors do private classes. I'd be surprised to hear that any active instructors didn't. (I occasionally will do a private, one-person class at my regular rate when I schedule a class and only one person signs up. That's rare, I'm happy to say; it's only a very little less work to do a one-person class than to do a multiple-person one, and the overhead -- facility rental, my time -- is just about the same.)

You should wait for that to clear up before you make any big decisions. :D
