I'll pre-empt most of the regulars who are going to ask you who the hell taught your class. This is pretty basic stuff, and it should've been covered.
Short answer is yes. However, if you're an employee of the bank, you'd better check the employer's policy handbook to see if it's allowed.
The long answer is that you can carry anywhere that it is NOT PROHIBITED by statute or Federal Code.
Have you ever seen this?
624.714 CARRYING OF WEAPONS WITHOUT PERMIT; PENALTIES. (these are clickable)
or this?
609.66 DANGEROUS WEAPONS.
If not, ask for a refund.
If you don't have a permit yet, you'd best restrict your carrying to your own porperty.

If I could assign you homework, I'd tell you to review the info you got during your carry class - regularly. If there is something you do not understand or if you have a question, contact your instructor.
Find a good book that covers MN carry law. There are some out there - and here. (Cue Joel and others).
Oh - and welcome to the board.

Maybe the book is in the same box your gun is in. If not, you might want to keep that stuff together.....

Geesh, Go easy on the poor guy. Not all of us can remember EVERYTHING said in a carry class. It's a information overload when you're new.
And asking questions to gain information is what this forum is about.

Fair enough, sure. That said, some folks -- I'm one -- have, upon occasion, found themselves a bit irritated when the Forum is being used as a backstop for the inadequacies of the Coconut Charlie or Carlos Canopy types.
I don't have any particular reason to think that's necessarily the case here, but, that said, getting across the concept that that which is not prohibited is permitted is pretty basic.

You can carry in a bank! You can carry if you drank!
You can carry on a bus! You can carry with no fuss!
You cannot carry here, nor there,
But you can carry 'most anywhere!
You can carry, don't you see?
Try it, try it! You'll be free!

Change of address; loss or destruction of permit. (a) Within 30 days after changing permanent address, or within 30 days of having lost or destroyed the permit card, the permit holder must notify the issuing sheriff of the change, loss, or destruction. Failure to provide notification as required by this subdivision is a petty misdemeanor. The fine for a first offense must not exceed $25. Notwithstanding section 609.531, a firearm carried in violation of this paragraph is not subject to forfeiture.

My son is just turned 16 months old. I get a lot of catching up on the classics.
