I'm about to head out. See you all there. Should be a great day.
Update: What a fantastic day! Many thanks to Selurcspi and chinakay for everything they put into organizing and running this event. Nice to see some of you again and meet the rest. I've never had a shooting experience that comes close to comparing to today's and I'm extremely grateful to have had the opportunity.

A good time was had by all.
Good shooting, good weather, good people, good way to spend a day.
Thanks Selurcspi and China Kay for hosting the shoot.

It really was a fantastic day, great to see such a good turnout and we all had a truly fun time. Nice to meet some more of the forum crowd.
We'll post the results tomorrow. Some of us may want to give them a miss, much like some of us did with a few of the targets...

As has been said above, this was a lot of fun. If you haven't been to a steel shoot yet, you've got to give it a try.

The good news is that management think we did a good job and we are invited to do it again whenever we wish.
I'll look for more dates if we want to do it again, let me know.
Perhaps we can pick a Saturday when we can start at 9am and have a little more fun time afterwards.

Thank you kindly, but surely there must be some mistake. I was fortunate to not have a single weapon malfunction...all the malfunctions were with me.
Also, I think emptying three mags in the final round of the Man vs. Man and still not knocking down that last popper sort of nullifies my earlier performance. That was highly embarrassing.
Kudos to you, Brit, on taking home the gold in the Man vs. Man!

The error is almost always between the boots and the bang switch
And now you know how steel can humble one. THat is why it is so great. One minute you can be ripping along doing things perfectly fine. Then you can't hit the broad side of a barn, you *know* you are doing something wrongand should stop doing that.
