the park has a sigh at the entrance that reads only : NO FIREARMS IN PARK |

It appears to be a city park. Consider raising the issue with the city's Parks and Recreation Commissionand the City Attorney. It's been corrected successfully in other cities (Rochester and Lakeville are two that I know of which you can search for here). |
