I'm not familiar with the Childrens Museum. Who owns it? How is it funded?

I am curious about this also. I plan on not investing any bit of my hard earned money at any organization that posts something about children being safer. That is ridiculous.
Burns me up!

I was just there as well. Decided to leave my firearm in the car as the wife would have complained. Several shady people around. After all, this IS in downtown St Paul.

I think the children's museum might not have been a "safe place for children to play and learn" this past Friday night

That's funny, I'm guessing it was safer.

Un-frickin believeable - I even took a picture of the sign today but see that Andrew has beat me to it. The message implied on this sign sends my blood pressure through the roof - parking is a joke (closest being nearly $9) and during our half-mile walk to the door we were approached by some of St Paul's unsavory type characters - a simple "not interested" was all it took to move them along but it was comforting to be able to comfort her when she whispered a very quiet, "are we safe" as they approached. My squeeze of her hand was all the reassurance that she needed.
On a more amusing note, she noticed the sign before I did - read it, snickered an audible "oh please" and held the door for my two kids and me. Gents, I am a lucky man!

Childrens museum?
Sooooo, do they have exhibits of children from eras gone by, or...
You know; this is how kids looked in the 60's, this is how they looked in the 1800's, etc...

Yeah. they have some interesting cross-sections too. You know, "This is what the inside of a kid looks like."
